These men's grey cargo shorts I got here from G by GUESS possess both functionality and style. At first I got it because I like its muted slate, or gray brown, color a lot, plus cargo shorts are my preferred style of shorts. Well, it turns out that the color matches easily with most of my shirts, not to mention that my gold grey striped webbing belt looks perfect with the shorts due to their color affinity. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.

These cotton knee length shorts have six pockets: two on the sides, two on the back which are zip pockets, and two on the thighs which are snap button pockets. They feature front decoy zip detail near the side pockets to give them extra style. The cargo pockets are secured with snap button flaps.

Since the shorts are gray, they are good with any neutral colored garments such as black, white, or anything in between. I mentioned earlier that my gold gray striped webbing belt suits perfectly with these shorts. Not only do the gray colors go with each other, the zippers' silver metal quality matches the golden color of the belt as well. They complement each very well.

I've always like cargo shorts for their durability and practicality. They are comfortable to wear because they do not hinder my leg movement at all. Needless to say, they are built mainly for outdoor activities.

Overall, these cargo shorts will last me a long time and, with the humble asking price, they are totally worth it.

As summer approaches, it's time to replace those long pants with your favorite shorts. I have just recently discovered a pair of shorts I find so agreeable that it has quickly become a top favorite of mine. The belted cargo shorts from EXPRESS are my shorts of choice when it comes to summertime simply due to their superior comfort and pleasant style. They may not be the cheapest shorts you will find but you get what you pay for, and then some.

Similar to most other shorts, this pair features button front with zip fly. What separates this from those other shorts is the included canvas belt. The buckle consists of a rectangular rim with two prongs that fit nicely through the metal eyelets in the belt. It's both stylishly designed and well made. Besides the two hand pockets and two button flap back patch pockets, there is a cargo pocket on each side for added storage capacity.

So what we have here is a pair of shorts that, in addition to having striking colors and chic design, is superior in comfort and very easy to move around in. It is great for a casual outing and goes well with many colors besides the usual black or white. Shirts like grey polo or light blue polo hold up pretty well as an example. The overall quality justifies the moderate cost. These shorts have earned their place as my indispensable summer wear.

EXPRESS offers this in four colors of your choosing: white, back bay khaki, graphite, and quantico. All four are fairly unique and come with different belt colors. I tried all four and decided that I like the white the best simply because I could think of many shirts that go well with this color. On a side note, out of the four variants, I like the quantico the least due to its lack of visual impact the others have.
