When I first set my eyes upon this Zara blue striped shirt, I immediately recognized it as having a similar style and layout as the EXPRESS fitted military shirt. However, it looks and feels quite a bit more casual than its Express counterpart so I bought it without a second thought.

The color of this button down shirt is almost white with light blue thin stripes across the surface. There are darker blue threads along the chest pocket flaps as well as the front placket and all the way up to the collar. Epaulets are also present in keeping with the military style. The shirt has long sleeves, but you can roll them up and secure them with a tab and the shirt will look even better on you. The same feature is found on the other military shirt as well. Not trying to say one copies another, it's just that the design similarities are impossible to ignore.

As usual, I prefer to roll up my sleeves and undo the chest buttons when I wear this just by itself. It's a simple way to look trendy. The thin blue stripes on the shirt goes perfect with jeans, thus making the whole thing come together flawlessly.

If you are into military trend shirts, I would definitely recommend both this one and the EXPRESS black fitted military shirt or EXPRESS white fitted military shirt. These shirts complement each other well since the former is quite a bit more casual than the latter, so be smart and choose one that's best suited for the situation at hand.

By the way I also bought the red striped shirt in the same style. Check it out if you prefer red to blue.
