This here is a pretty interesting looking t-shirt. The Abercrombie & Fitch Dix Range tie t-shirt is something that drew my attention while I went clothes shopping the other day. From a distance it looks just like a real tie, albeit a flat and non-moving one at that. I purchased it with the intention of going to work wearing it in mind (since I work as a computer programmer I had a bit of leeway in terms of dress code.) So I did, and on that day most of my colleagues who ran into me commented on my shirt. Just a tiny bit of unusualness in your everyday attire can stir up a conversation and this shirt did just that.

As far as the design goes, it is a simple gray short sleeve t-shirt with a mimicking navy blue striped tie pattern. There is an Abercrombie & Fitch logo which resembles a moose on the upper left chest. It is made of 100% soft sueded cotton.

A piece of advice: On its own this shirt is not as effective. You need to find a good combination of shirts to make it really stand out. In my opinion, it looks great with a casual plaid or checked long sleeve shirt underneath. The only thing I didn't care much for is that unnecessarily conspicuous moose logo which distracts from an otherwise supposedly formal look. Since the overall design is pretty much a playful joke anyway removing the logo would probably make the humor more effective. Or perhaps it is there to remind some not to take the mimicry seriously.
