I spotted this pair of men's True Religion dark grey canvas shoes at a store and was eager to try them on right away. Judging from their appearance, these shoes share a very similar style with Converse All Star shoes. I like my shoes to have different styles and colors so they can go well with a wide range of outfits. Since this is cheap and has a nice charcoal color I ended up making the purchase.

Judging from their appearance, these shoes share a very similar style with Converse All Star shoes. I like my shoes to have different styles and colors so they can go well with a wide range of outfits. Since this is cheap and has a nice charcoal color I ended up making the purchase.

Besides the Converse signature such as the white toe cap, white rubber outsole, and white shoelace, the rest of the upper is covered in charcoal color. To make the shoes more aesthetically interesting, the welt separates the white outsole and charcoal upper cleanly with a nice red color.

The dark grey color is not exactly flashy, but actually goes GREAT with many outfits. You'll notice in many outfit posts I wear this pair of shoes. They are great with light blue jeans, dark blue jeans, white pants, grey jeans, shorts, anything.
Since this type of shoes hardly has any interior cushion, it's not intended for any sports activities that involve running or otherwise exerting excess stress on the shoes, thus limiting its use. That's not to say the shoes are uncomfortable. I enjoy having them on when I go for a short walk.

hmm are True Religion and converse related by any chance? can't tell a difference between the two as far as canvas shoes go.
